Heute am Samstag, dem 18.4.2026 erwarten wir am Nachmittag / Abend wieder schöne Flugzeuge mit tollen Starts und Landungen. Es wird frühlingshaft bis zu 10 Grad mit schwachen Winden mt langsam drehenden Richtungen. Wir rechnen mit 06R Betrieb an der Südbahn. Hoffmannkurven sollten demnach drin sein! Der Flugverkehr in Deutschland und Europa wird weiterhin massiv durch die Streiks der Lufthansa Group beeinträchtigt. Im Mittelpunkt stehen die Fluggesellschaften Lufthansa und Eurowings, letztere sehr stark am BER vertreten. Wir schauen uns das aktuelle Fluggeschehen an und analysieren in gewohnter Weise. Der Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg (BER) bietet Planespottern einige Vorteile und besondere Ausstattungsmerkmale, die ihn zu einer der spannendsten Beobachtungsstätten Deutschlands machen. Die moderne Infrastruktur und die teilweise großzügig gestalteten Spotterpunkte ermöglichen einen eingeschränkten Blick auf Start- und Landebahnen sowie die Gates. Über Google Maps und spezialisierte Spotter-Karten wie Spotterguide.net lassen sich die aktuell besten Standorte und Positionen recherchieren, wodurch auch seltene Maschinen und Spezialflüge optimal beobachtet werden können. Als Regierungsflughafen spielt der BER eine zentrale Rolle: Die Flugbereitschaft des Bundesministeriums der Verteidigung betreibt hier ihr Interims-Regierungsterminal, auf dem politisch-parlamentarische Flüge von Regierungsmitgliedern abgewickelt werden. Bis zu drei Regierungsflugzeuge und zwei Staatsgast-Maschinen können gleichzeitig parken. Das exklusive Terminal verfügt über eigene Zufahrten, Protokollbereiche und circa 5.400m² Flächen für Personal, Technik und Empfang. Für Planespotter bietet dies die seltene Gelegenheit, Staats- und Regierungsmaschinen, Sonderflüge und diplomatische Delegationen zu beobachten und zu dokumentieren. Der BER hat sich zudem als Wartungsstandort etabliert: Unternehmen wie easyJet, Lufthansa Technik oder FAI Technik unterhalten moderne Hangars am Flughafen. Die Wartung umfasst Flotten verschiedener Hersteller – darunter Gulfstream, Hawker, Airbus A320 Familie und Bombardier – wodurch ungewöhnliche und seltene Flugzeugmodelle regelmäßig am BER zu sehen sind.
