Gdansk Airport (GDN) is an international airport located in the Matarnia district. The facility has been named after the leader of Solidarity and former Polish president Lech Wałęsa. The airport is located about 10 km from the centre of Gdansk and Sopot and 23 km from Gdynia. The passenger infrastructure of Lech Wałęsa Airport consists of 2 modern passenger terminals (T1 and T2), as well as 5 jet bridges.
