O'Hare Planespotting Holiday Spectacular 2025

Description

The annual O'Hare Planespotting Holiday Spectacular is here once again, featuring 25 minutes of sunny arrivals this year. I was able to get quite a bit of west flow afternoon action approaching runway 28C at ORD. At 11:00, I got the Air India 777 arrival, which I am not used to seeing in the afternoon. This flight from Delhi stops in Vienna on the way to Chicago to refuel, and usually comes around 10:30 AM in Chicago, but was running late on this day. Next, I got an Air Canada A320 with grey engines at 13:42. It was nice that they sent him south, which is usually not the case for Vancouver flights. At 15:05, I get a nice video of Iberia's A350-900, an equipment swap from the A330-300, which is regularly scheduled on the route. At 23:27, I capture a nice shot of the moon with a plane passing through it. To finish off the video, I caught a Compass Air Cargo 747 in some great golden hour lighting.
