Beautiful Milan Linate Airport Planespotting October 2025

Description

Linate is very close to the city centre of Milan, making it accessible and practical for a spotting session. It has a mix of commercial short-/medium-haul flights, business/general aviation traffic, and evolving airline operations (which means variety in aircraft types and liveries). In the lead-up to the winter season (from late October), some changes happen in airline operations and slot allocations — making it interesting for spotting. For example, the carrier Austrian Airlines moved its Milan-based flights to Linate from 26 October 2025.
